Chocolate Bird’s Nests
Chocolate Bird’s nests can be made by mixing melted chocolate with Shredded breakfast cereal. All Bran works very well, not to mention that it makes for a slightly less guilty treat when you combine with dark chocolate.
Mix your concoction together in a bowl, and spoon out into regular sized muffin tins that have been treated with non-stick spray. Use a spoon or small spatula to press the mixture down into the middle of the muffin cup, making a nest in the center.
Once all of your nests have been made, chill in the refrigerator until they have set before storing in an airtight container. These can be made a few days ahead of time. On the day of your party, fill the nests with candy robin’s eggs or jellybeans.
