Take a look at this fresh take on a classic birthday party idea for young children. It’s all worth it when you see the look of amazement when your “Little Buckaroo” arrives at his party!!
Wanted Posters with a picture of your child, are a cute way to invite your guests to your cowboy/cowgirl party.
As your party guests arrive, have cowboy hats available on the welcome table so that everyone can join in the fun.
Backdrops can be purchased from www.shindigz.com, or rented from event planners and party rental warehouses to decorate your party like an old western town. Galvanized tins can be used to hold condiments, peanuts in the shell, or candies.
If your party is outdoors or in your garage, set up a shooting post. Spray paint soda cans or water bottles brown, and use a gold paint pen to add your own brand to the cans, such as “Cow Boy Cola”, or “Wild West Whiskey”. Give the children water pistols to shoot the cans and bottles off of the haystacks or fence posts.

Galvanized Buckets can be purchased at www.shindigz.com
Horse Shoe cake pans can be purchased at www.wilton.com. Wilton also sells a Princess Carriage cake and offers instructions on their website to decorate this design as a stage coach. This is very cute, but a bit more difficult than the horseshoe cake.
